Saudi Energy Invites Bids for Expo 2030 Riyadh Substations Development
Saudi Energy has issued a tender for the development of three 132/13.8kV substations to support the upcoming Expo 2030 in Riyadh. The project includes works to interconnect these substations with the national electricity grid, enhancing the power supply for the Expo site and surrounding developments.
This initiative is part of a broader infrastructure program aimed at reliable power delivery during the event, which is expected to attract millions of visitors. Additionally, Saudi Energy's Project Development Company is replacing overhead transmission towers on Prince Mohammed bin Salman Road with underground cables to improve urban infrastructure and energy efficiency.
