Seattle City Light Begins Nighttime Work for Morgan Junction EV-Charging Lot
Seattle City Light is conducting overnight work for the Morgan Junction EV-charging lot project along Fauntleroy Way. This work, which is expected to last about six weeks, involves running power cables and will occur four nights a week, from 7 pm to 4 am. The project aims to convert an old substation site into an eight-space EV-fast-charging lot, scheduled to open by late summer.

Seattle City Light is performing overnight work along Fauntleroy Way for the Morgan Junction EV-charging lot project. The work, lasting approximately six weeks, runs from 7 pm to 4 am, four nights a week, with flaggers present as needed.
No full closure of Fauntleroy is anticipated. Excavation and restoration across Fauntleroy are expected to be completed by the end of April, with crews using steel plates to cover the work area after hours. The project will transform an old substation site into an eight-space EV-fast-charging lot, set to open by late summer.
