SEMIFIVE has secured a turnkey design contract worth KRW 18 billion (approximately USD 12.5 million) with a fabless AI semiconductor company for the development of a high-performance AI NPU using Samsung Foundry's 4nm process technology. This project aims to commercialize a next-generation AI NPU optimized for real-time data processing in on-premise environments.

SEMIFIVE has a strong track record in NPU design and mass production, having completed several significant projects. The company is also expanding its customer base globally, focusing on regions such as the US, China, Japan, India, and Europe, to meet the rising demand for high-performance AI ASICs.
