Shentel Business Expands Fiber Network and Sees Revenue Growth
Shentel reported a 21.4% increase in fiber revenue, now over half of total revenue, following the acquisition of Horizon Telecom. The company continues to capitalize on growing demand in its commercial segment, with significant monthly sales bookings and expanded installations.

Shentel's fiber revenue increased by 21.4%, now accounting for more than half of total revenue. The acquisition of Horizon Telecom has expanded Glo Fiber markets in Ohio and doubled the size of Shentel's commercial fiber business.
In the second quarter, Shentel's monthly sales bookings surpassed 180,000, driven by demand from enterprise customers and wireless carriers. The service delivery team installed 209,000 new locations, while efforts reduced average monthly churn to 0.4%.
Strategic proximity to data centers in Ashburn, Virginia, and Columbus, Ohio, enhances Shentel's competitive edge. The company is investing in additional resources for its commercial segment, particularly targeting SMBs.
