The freeze affects various CFexpress Type A and Type B cards, as well as multiple SDXC/SDHC models. Only the 960GB CFexpress Type B card and SF-UZ series SD cards remain available. Sony did not specify a timeline for resuming orders, indicating challenges in sourcing NAND flash amid ongoing demand from AI data centers. This order freeze comes alongside a global price increase for the PS5.
