South Korea's Industry Minister to Strengthen Energy Cooperation in Multi-Nation Tour
Industry Minister Kim Jung Kwan will visit Kazakhstan, Middle Eastern nations, and the Czech Republic to enhance energy security and industrial partnerships. This tour aims to secure stable crude oil and natural gas supplies while promoting collaboration in critical minerals and advanced technology sectors.

Industry Minister Kim Jung Kwan's tour includes Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UAE, and the Czech Republic. In Kazakhstan, from Sunday to Tuesday, he will attend the 11th South Korea-Kazakhstan Joint Committee meeting to discuss energy cooperation and resources.
From June 13 to 16, he will visit the Middle Eastern countries to strengthen energy partnerships. In the Czech Republic on June 17-18, he will evaluate the Dukovany nuclear power plant project and hold talks on supply chains and joint R&D in advanced technologies like robotics and semiconductors. This initiative may enhance South Korea's energy security and technological collaboration in the region.
