The Spanish Council of Ministers has authorized the construction of a €108 million high-speed rail line between Lorca and Vera, spanning 61.5 kilometers and including four stations: Puerto Lumbreras, Almendricos, Pulpí, and Vera-Almanzora. The project aims to restore rail connectivity between Murcia and Andalucía.
Adif AV will manage the tendering process and is already overseeing other parts of the Murcia-Almería line.
