St. Kitts and Nevis Implements Renewable Energy and Electric Vehicle Policies
St. Kitts and Nevis is advancing its clean energy transition with new policies and partnerships. The government has approved an Electric Vehicle Transition Policy and launched the Solar Rise Programme to promote rooftop solar installations. Initiatives include a three-day Career Day for students in energy careers and a new energy roadmap within the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States. The country is also developing geothermal energy on Nevis and has secured support from international partners to enhance renewable energy efforts.
