Stärke-AMG Enhances Additive Manufacturing with New Systems
Stärke Advanced Manufacturing Group has integrated three Renishaw AM400 systems at its Camden Park facility, enhancing its capacity in Additive Manufacturing. This development aims to support local sectors transitioning to advanced manufacturing, including defence and medical, while reducing reliance on imports.

Stärke Advanced Manufacturing Group has expanded its Additive Manufacturing capabilities by integrating three Renishaw AM400 laser powder bed fusion systems at its Camden Park site. This expansion is designed to meet the rising demand for advanced 3D printed components and to bolster South Australia's manufacturing sector, particularly in space, defence, and medical applications.
One of the machines will be utilized for a new Additive Manufacturing Cooperative Research Centre project involving multiple academic institutions. The integration of these systems will enhance production capabilities beyond titanium to include materials like stainless steel and Inconel.
As Stärke-AMG focuses on the defence sector, they aim to achieve certification from ASC and the US Navy soon, emphasizing the critical role of additive manufacturing in innovation and component repair. The company anticipates additional orders in the space and energy markets as production ramps up.
