Svante Technologies Inc. has acquired Carbon Alpha Corporation and its subsidiaries, including Carbon Alpha Development Corp., along with its interests in North Star Carbon Solutions Corp. and North Star Carbon Solutions Limited Partnership. This acquisition allows Svante to expand its presence in carbon capture and storage (CCS) in Western Canada. The North Star Bioenergy Carbon Capture and Storage (BECCS) project, developed in partnership with the Meadow Lake Tribal Council in Saskatchewan, will be integrated into Svante's business unit portfolio.
