Tata Steel Reports 8% Q3 Output Growth, UK EAF Plant Under Development
Tata Steel reported an 8% increase in consolidated output for Q3 FY26, reaching 8.33 million tonnes, while overall deliveries rose by 7.56% to 8.25 million tonnes. The figures exclude output from the UK operations, where the company is developing a 3.2 million tonnes electric arc furnace (EAF) plant as part of its green transition strategy, with site preparations and enabling works currently underway.

Tata Steel has announced an 8% increase in consolidated output, reaching 8.33 million tonnes in Q3 FY26, up from 7.71 million tonnes in the same quarter last year. This figure does not include output from the UK operations, where Tata Steel is constructing a 3.2 million tonnes electric arc furnace (EAF) steel plant as part of its green transition strategy.
The company's overall deliveries increased by 7.56%, totaling 8.25 million tonnes compared to 7.67 million tonnes in Q3 FY25. The EAF project is progressing, with enabling works advancing and site preparations underway for the next construction phase.
