Tenaris Acquires Beaver Falls Scrap Yard to Strengthen US Steel Supply Chain
Tenaris has officially closed its acquisition of the Beaver Falls scrap processing yard in Pennsylvania, now part of Steel Recycling Services. The acquisition aims to enhance Tenaris' steel manufacturing operations in the US by providing direct access to high-quality raw materials for its adjacent Koppel facility.

Tenaris has completed the acquisition of the Beaver Falls scrap processing yard in Pennsylvania, transitioning it to its subsidiary Steel Recycling Services. The approximately 39-acre yard, located next to Tenaris' Koppel manufacturing facility, maintains existing operations and is intended to strengthen the company's US steel manufacturing footprint. This acquisition will improve the coordination between scrap processing and steel production, ensuring direct access to high-quality raw materials for the Koppel facility, which produces liquid steel via an electric arc furnace.
