A significant initiative is the semiconductor institute at the RELLIS Campus, costing approximately $205 million, designed to enhance U.S. semiconductor manufacturing and slated to begin construction in March 2026, with completion expected by early 2028.
Additionally, the expansion of the Cyclotron Institute will improve heavy ion testing capabilities for entities such as SpaceX and the European Space Commission. The third project involves a new poultry science center to replace outdated facilities and enhance agricultural education.
