Tongwei is pursuing the acquisition of all equity in Lihao Clean Energy, which specializes in solar-grade polysilicon and semiconductor materials. This move is intended to strengthen Tongwei's industrial chain and competitive position.

Lihao Clean Energy, founded on April 29, 2021, has a registered capital exceeding RMB1 billion and operates polysilicon production facilities in Qinghai and Sichuan, with plans for a RMB20 billion project to produce 200,000 tons of solar-grade polysilicon annually. Tongwei has signed letters of intent with three parties for the acquisition, including Lihao's chairman and two enterprise management partnerships.
