TotalEnergies Signs Power Purchase Agreements to Supply Renewable Energy to Airbus in Germany and UK
TotalEnergies and Airbus have signed two Power Purchase Agreements to deliver 3.3 TWh of renewable electricity to Airbus' sites in Germany and the UK. The agreements will begin in 2027 and provide baseload power from new renewable assets with 200 MW capacity, covering 50% of the electricity needs of the sites. This aligns with Airbus' goals for energy efficiency and emissions reduction.

TotalEnergies and Airbus have entered into two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) to supply 3.3 TWh of renewable electricity to Airbus' major sites in Germany and the UK. The agreements, effective from 2027, will provide baseload power from renewable assets totaling 200 MW, meeting approximately 50% of the electricity demand for these locations.
This initiative supports Airbus' ongoing commitment to decarbonization and aligns with TotalEnergies' goal of over 100 TWh of net electricity production by 2030. The collaboration follows a previous partnership on sustainable aviation fuel established in 2024.
