Toto Ltd Reports Record Earnings and Plans Increased Semiconductor Investments
Toto Ltd (TYO:5332) reported record annual earnings with net sales of 737.4 billion yen for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. The company aims to increase investments in semiconductor-related components, anticipating sustained demand driven by AI and data centers.

For the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, Toto Ltd achieved net sales of 737.4 billion yen, a rise from 724.5 billion yen the previous year, and an operating profit of 53.8 billion yen, up from 48.5 billion yen. Following this announcement, shares surged over 18% to 6,425.0 yen.
The advanced ceramics division's sales reached 67.4 billion yen, with an operating profit of 28.9 billion yen, largely due to demand for electrostatic chucks and AD components in semiconductor manufacturing. Despite mixed results in its core housing equipment business and challenges in mainland China, Toto projects another record profit year in fiscal 2027, driven by ongoing semiconductor demand.
