TPSODL Enhances Power Infrastructure in Sunabeda, Benefits 7000 Consumers
TPSODL has strengthened the power infrastructure in Sunabeda, Koraput district, by commissioning an 8 MVA transformer at the Sunabeda Primary Substation, raising the total capacity from 11.3 MVA to 16.15 MVA. This upgrade addresses voltage issues and accommodates the growing power load.
The substation now operates with three transformers: 3.15 MVA, 5 MVA, and 8 MVA, improving load distribution and reliability. Approximately 7,000 consumers, including areas like Sunabeda NAC Town and Jadaguda, are expected to experience enhanced power supply with fewer fluctuations.
TPSODL also refurbished the 33 kV line and installed a new bus bar arrangement to ensure efficient handling of electrical loads. The infrastructure enhancements aim to meet future electricity demands and support local economic growth.
