Trump Ends U.S.-Iran Ceasefire, Calls for Trade Cut with Spain
U.S. President Donald Trump has declared the cessation of the ceasefire with Iran and ordered a complete trade halt with Spain. This decision comes amidst rising tensions related to the Iran crisis and NATO's internal dynamics.

President Donald Trump announced the end of the U.S.-Iran ceasefire, stating, "I don't want to deal with them" regarding Iran's leadership. Concurrently, he demanded the cessation of all trade with Spain, labeling it a "terrible partner" in NATO and expressing dissatisfaction with Spain's military contributions.
This announcement occurred during the 36th NATO Summit in Ankara, where leaders from 32 nations were convened to discuss defense spending and the Iran situation. Trump also criticized European countries for not supporting U.S. military operations and revived claims on Greenland, straining relations with Denmark.
The U.S. has recently conducted military strikes against Iran, escalating tensions further. The situation poses risks for NATO cohesion and transatlantic relations.
