TSMC's $165 billion investment has drawn numerous semiconductor suppliers, increasing daily traffic from under 10,000 vehicles in 2014 to around 30,000 in 2024. Additional developments like NorthPark and the Peoria Innovation Core are expected to exacerbate traffic demands, prompting urgent infrastructure upgrades.
