TVA to Conduct Helicopter Operations for Aerial Marker Ball Replacement at Sequoyah Nuclear Plant

From March 30 to April 3, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) will carry out aerial work near the Sequoyah Nuclear Plant in Soddy-Daisy, Tennessee. Helicopters will replace 47 aerial marker balls on transmission lines over Chickamauga Lake.
The existing markers have faded and need replacement for safety. TVA will maintain safety with boats in the area for boaters, advising caution and monitoring marine radio channels. This maintenance supports efforts to strengthen the power grid and address growing demand in the Tennessee Valley.
