UEDCL will conduct a planned power shutdown on February 14, 2026, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, affecting areas served by the Waligo Substation. This outage is necessary for maintenance works to enhance service reliability.

Residents in Kesington, Waligo, Kumukaga, Cementers, Sekanyonyi, Lutete, Bumbu, Kakomera, Magere, Kazinga, Wampewo, Masooli, and Zirobwe will experience the shutdown. UEDCL recommends that customers switch off electrical appliances and has apologized for any inconvenience caused.
