UFlex Advances Circular Economy in Multi-Layered Plastics at AEPW Meeting
UFlex presented its innovative recycling practices for multi-layered plastics at the AEPW board meeting, emphasizing the potential for sustainable packaging solutions. The company has recycled over 500,000 tons of mixed plastic waste, showcasing its leadership in promoting a circular economy.

At the AEPW board meeting on November 30, 2022, UFlex emphasized its expertise in recycling multi-layered plastics, having recycled over 500,000 tons since 1995. The company invested over $20 million last financial year in its recycling facilities located in Poland and Mexico, producing value-added products from post-consumer waste.
UFlex's 'Project Plastic Fix' aligns with its sustainability principles of reducing, recycling, reusing, and returning plastic to the environment. Ashok Chaturvedi called for collaboration among stakeholders to enhance the recycling value chain and support the transition to a circular economy. The advanced injection molding capabilities at UFlex's Noida facility further illustrate the potential for innovative applications of recycled materials.
