UK Commits £3 Billion Annually to Support Ukraine's Defense Through 2031
The UK will allocate at least £3 billion per year to support Ukraine's defense capabilities until 2031, as stated in a declaration by President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Starmer. The UK will focus on enhancing Ukraine's air defense, leading the Ukraine Defense Contact Group, and collaborating on military technologies, including the production of OCTOPUS interceptor drones. The agreement aims to deepen cooperation across eight strategic areas, including security and defense training.
