The UK has committed to providing at least £3 billion annually to support Ukraine's defense capabilities through 2031, as outlined in a joint declaration by President Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Starmer. This funding will enhance Ukraine's air defense and support international military assistance coordination.

The UK will lead the Ukraine Defense Contact Group and collaborate on the production of OCTOPUS interceptor drones under the LYRA program. Additionally, the UK will continue to train Ukrainian troops through Operation INTERFLEX. The strategic partnership covers areas such as security, trade, transport, and energy, aiming to facilitate joint defense technology initiatives.
