UMOE Begins Production in China, Ships First Hydrogen Cylinders to Australia
UMOE Advanced Composites has commenced large-scale production at its new Jiaxing facility in China. The plant will manufacture composite gas cylinders for hydrogen and other applications, with initial shipments allocated to the Hiringa Sundown joint venture in Australia, supporting a green hydrogen project in New South Wales. The facility, covering 12,000 square meters, is expected to greatly enhance UMOE's production capacity, allowing for an annual output of up to 20,000 cylinders.

UMOE Advanced Composites has initiated large-scale production at its new facility in Jiaxing, China, which is set to be its largest global production base. The facility will produce composite gas cylinders for hydrogen and other compressed gases, with the first delivery supporting the Hiringa Sundown joint venture in Australia for a green hydrogen project in New South Wales.
The initial shipment includes five containers designed for flexible storage and transport. The 12,000 square meter plant is expected to increase UMOE's annual production capacity to 20,000 cylinders, significantly enhancing its global operations. Local manufacturing will lower production costs and improve logistics for hydrogen storage.
