Union Minister Jual Oram characterized the Union Budget 2026 as a 'Reform Express', aimed at accelerating economic development in Jharkhand and nationally. The budget allocates ₹40,000 crore for semiconductor manufacturing, ₹10,000 crore for bio-pharma, and similar amounts for MSMEs and micro-enterprises.

Jharkhand will receive ₹51,236 crore in tax devolution for 2026-27, with significant allocations for railways and infrastructure. The budget emphasizes women's empowerment, skill development, and welfare schemes, supporting inclusive growth and improved living conditions across the state.
