Vetter Receives EcoVadis Platinum Rating and Commits to Emission Reductions

Vetter achieved an EcoVadis Platinum rating for sustainability and received validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its emission reduction goals. By 2034, Vetter aims to reduce Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 58.8% from a 2021 baseline.

The company plans to increase renewable energy use and implement energy recovery measures. In 2025, Vetter expanded its photovoltaic capacity to meet 22% of its Ravensburg site’s electricity needs and began using biomethane, saving over 1,000 tons of CO₂ annually. These initiatives align with the Paris Agreement and emphasize Vetter's commitment to sustainable practices.
