This initiative aligns with a trend among Indian conglomerates investing in the semiconductor industry, with HCL and Tata Group developing significant OSAT facilities.

Concurrently, Mitsui is collaborating with Kaynes Semicon to establish semiconductor back-end manufacturing in India, supporting the Make in India initiative. The partnership aims to enhance the domestic semiconductor ecosystem and includes support for Kaynes in assembly, testing, and market access, while ensuring a stable supply chain.
