The Electricity Supply Reliability Project (ESRP) and Electricity Transmission Network Improvement Project (ETNIP) in Armenia enhanced system reliability and operational safety. The initiatives modernized substations and 257 kilometers of transmission lines, benefiting over 3 million people by reducing outages and improving electricity services. The World Bank financed these upgrades, focusing on the high-voltage transmission network to support economic productivity and ensure stable electricity supply for households and businesses.

The Electricity Supply Reliability Project (ESRP) and Electricity Transmission Network Improvement Project (ETNIP) have modernized Armenia's transmission grid, which faced frequent outages and limitations due to aging Soviet-era infrastructure. These projects involved upgrading critical substations and 257 kilometers of transmission lines, improving electricity reliability for over 3 million people.
The World Bank facilitated these enhancements by financing the rehabilitation of outdated equipment and improving operational safety protocols. The upgrades aimed to reduce outages, support economic productivity, and enhance the investment climate for businesses. The initiatives provided short-term job opportunities during construction while promoting long-term employment stability through improved electricity service.
