YEO Technology has invested in ARC Clean Technology, which specializes in advanced small modular reactors (aSMRs), aiming to deploy this technology in Turkey. The investment is valued at USD 60.4 million and follows ARC's recent series B financing round.

ARC is developing the ARC-100, a 100 MW sodium-cooled fast reactor with a 20-year refueling cycle, intended for electricity generation and industrial processes. YEO's strategic move aligns with Turkey's nuclear power investments, with the country planning to operationalize its first reactor at the Akkuyu nuclear power plant by 2026. Turkey also aims to achieve 7.2 GW nuclear capacity by 2035 and 20 GW by 2050, with ongoing discussions with South Korea, the US, China, and Russia regarding nuclear projects.
