Yongin City Wins Minister of Interior and Safety Award at 2026 Korea Green Climate Awards
Yongin City received the Minister of the Interior and Safety Award at the 2026 Korea Green Climate Awards for its contributions to climate crisis response and carbon neutrality. The city was recognized for achieving industrial competitiveness while developing the world's largest semiconductor mega-cluster. Initiatives include establishing a Carbon Neutrality Support Center, supporting corporate green management, and implementing public-private cooperation projects.
