Zeon Corporation and Visolis Inc. have signed a binding term sheet to enhance their partnership in commercializing bio-based isoprene monomer and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). This agreement is a result of prior progress, including a memorandum of understanding in March 2024 and a joint feasibility study announced in April 2025.

Key items for the final investment decision (FID) are outlined, such as business structure, roles, technology policies, and regulatory approvals. The planned facility will produce bio-isoprene and SAF using Visolis' fermentation technology from biomass feedstock. Zeon previously invested in Visolis in December 2022.
