Aemetis India Subsidiary Secures $24 Million Biodiesel Allocation from OMCs
Aemetis, Inc. announced that its Universal Biofuels subsidiary in India has secured approximately $24 million for supplying over 27 million liters of biodiesel to three government-owned Oil Marketing Companies, with deliveries set to continue until March 2026. This initiative supports the Indian government's goal to increase biodiesel blending from 1% to 5%. Universal Biofuels also plans to explore expansion opportunities in renewable fuels and is preparing for an Initial Public Offering on the Indian stock exchange, pending favorable market conditions.
