Allied Biofuels and Uzbekistan Sign Agreement for $6.08B Sustainable Aviation Fuel Project
Allied Biofuels FE LLC and the Khorezm Region Government of Uzbekistan have signed a Project Implementation Agreement, backed by a Presidential Decree. This initiative represents a significant investment in clean energy infrastructure, estimated at $6.08 billion, aimed at producing Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and other biofuels.

On April 2, 2026, Allied Biofuels FE LLC and the Khorezm Region Government executed a binding Project Implementation Agreement (PIA) in Perth, Australia. This project, underpinned by a Presidential Decree, has been designated as a Special Economic Zone, offering tax exemptions and customs incentives.
The facility will produce approximately 160,400 tonnes of SAF, 257,000 tonnes of e-SAF, and 5,040 tonnes of Green Diesel annually. The total investment is estimated at $6.08 billion over five years, marking it as one of the largest clean energy projects in Central Asia.
The initiative is expected to generate around 2,000 jobs during construction and aims to position Uzbekistan as a leader in sustainable industrial development. The project's strategic design includes a renewable energy system and a closed-loop model for CO₂ conversion, reinforcing the commitment to zero-carbon production.
