Amaggi Acquires 40% Stake in Brazilian Ethanol Producer FS
Amaggi has acquired a 40% stake in FS, a Brazilian corn ethanol producer, to enhance its biofuel operations and achieve decarbonization goals. This investment will integrate Amaggi's logistics and operations with FS's processing capabilities, supporting a shift towards sustainable agriculture.

Amaggi's acquisition of a 40% stake in FS aims to bolster its biofuel initiatives and support sustainability objectives, including achieving net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. FS, headquartered in São Paulo and operating in Mato Grosso, reported R$12.8 billion in net revenue for 2025 from processing 6 million tons of corn, yielding 2.6 billion liters of ethanol.
The partnership is expected to enhance corn origination, logistics, and exports through vertical integration. This move follows Amaggi's decision to end a joint venture with Inpasa due to differing visions for the project, indicating a strategic shift in its investment focus.
