Ammongas Secures Deal for Biomethane Facility in Spain
Ammongas will supply a biomethane upgrading system for a facility in Llíria, Spain, with a capacity of 1,850 Nm³/h. This project supports Spain's renewable gas infrastructure expansion and aims to produce approximately 90 GWh of biomethane annually, aiding the country's energy transition and emissions reduction goals.

Ammongas has signed an agreement to provide a biomethane upgrading system for a facility in Llíria, near Valencia, Spain. This plant, developed by The Green Vector, will convert biogas from agricultural and livestock waste into high-quality biomethane for the national gas grid.
The facility is projected to produce about 90 GWh of biomethane each year and will reuse over 80% of the heat generated in the upgrading process, ensuring compliance with EU regulations. This initiative reflects a broader trend in Spain's renewable gas sector, which is experiencing increased investment and innovative projects aimed at reducing reliance on fossil fuels.
