Andhra Pradesh Approves Chroma-Ator to Establish 200 Biogas Plants in Palnadu District
The Andhra Pradesh government has granted approval to Chroma-Ator Power Products Pvt Ltd for the establishment of 200 TPD compressed biogas plants in Palnadu district. This decision aligns with the provisions of the Andhra Pradesh Integrated Clean Energy Policy 2024, which supports renewable energy initiatives.
The project involves the construction of ten plants, each with a capacity of 20 TPD, located in Edavalli village. The state aims to enhance its renewable energy capacity by over 160 GW and generate investments of Rs 10,000 crore. The initiative is expected to be completed within two years and is part of broader efforts to promote biofuel production and improve waste management.
