Andion CH4 Renewables Acquires Majority Stake in Agromet; Aruba Expands Hydroelectric Capacity
Andion CH4 Renewables has acquired a 65% stake in Agromet Barbianello S.r.l., which is converting a biogas plant to biomethane in Pavia. Aruba has acquired three hydroelectric plants in Turin, increasing its renewable energy production to over 60 GWh annually.

Andion CH4 Renewables, via Biomethan Brown Cremona 1 S.r.l., has secured a 65% stake in Agromet Barbianello S.r.l., which manages a biogas facility being converted to biomethane in Pavia. This acquisition supports the group's industrial growth in the biomethane sector and aligns with Italy's renewable energy and decarbonization goals.
Aruba has obtained three operational hydroelectric plants along the Stura di Lanzo in Turin, enhancing its renewable energy output to over 60 GWh per year. The expanded hydroelectric portfolio now includes 11 plants, sufficient to meet the energy needs of over 22,000 families. This strategy emphasizes producing renewable energy in-house rather than solely relying on market procurement.
