Bhubaneswar CBG Plant Nears Operational Status under Municipal Corporation

The Compressed Bio-Gas (CBG) plant in Bhubaneswar is set to become operational soon, with construction ongoing. Principal Secretary Usha Padhee inspected the site, emphasizing environmental protection and the creation of green buffer zones. An agreement between Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation and Oil India will see the processing of 300 metric tonnes of wet waste daily to produce biogas and organic fertilizer.
