Bioeconomy Corp and K-Eco Sign MoU for Biogas Development
Bioeconomy Development Corporation of Malaysia and Korea Environment Corporation have formalized a partnership to enhance biogas development and carbon neutrality efforts. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainable bioenergy solutions amid increasing global interest in this sector.

The Malaysian Bioeconomy Development Corporation (Bioeconomy Corp) and South Korea's Korea Environment Corporation (K-Eco) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in biogas initiatives. The agreement was established during the Biogas Towards Carbon Neutrality Workshop facilitated by K-Eco in Malaysia.
Key areas of collaboration include knowledge sharing, technical support, policy exchange, and project development in the biogas sector. Both nations aim to address the challenge of underutilized organic waste for biogas production, creating new opportunities for economic and environmental advancements. This partnership is timely as both countries align their efforts towards carbon neutrality and sustainable development.
