Biofrigas Plans 14.9 MSEK Rights Issue Subject to Shareholder Approval
Biofrigas Sweden AB intends to raise approximately 14.9 MSEK through a rights issue of units, pending shareholder approval on May 7, 2026. This capital is aimed at financing the company's commercialization efforts in the liquid biogas market, which is experiencing structural demand surpassing production capacity.

On April 2, 2026, Biofrigas' board approved a rights issue for up to 14.9 MSEK, contingent on shareholder approval at an extraordinary meeting scheduled for May 7, 2026. Each unit comprises four new shares and seven free series TO5 warrants, priced at 0.80 SEK per unit.
The company has secured commitments totaling 3.5 MSEK from board members and investors. If the maximum warrants are utilized, Biofrigas could gain an additional 26.0 MSEK. Proceeds will primarily support commercialization efforts, with further capital needed for operational scaling.
The rights issue may dilute existing shares by up to 68.8%. The market for liquid biogas is bolstered by geopolitical uncertainties and stringent climate requirements, highlighting a growing need for local, fossil-free energy production.
