BioticNRG Acquires Evercreech AD Plant in Somerset to Enhance UK Bioenergy Capacity
BioticNRG Limited has acquired Evercreech Renewable Energy Limited, an anaerobic digestion facility in Somerset. This acquisition increases BioticNRG's ownership of AD plants in the UK to nine. The Evercreech facility has a gas injection capacity of 700m³/hr, providing green gas for up to 8,000 homes and processing local food waste.

BioticNRG Limited has acquired 100% ownership of Evercreech Renewable Energy Limited, increasing its total anaerobic digestion (AD) plants in the UK to nine. The Evercreech facility, located in Shepton Mallet, Somerset, has a gas injection capacity of 700m³/hr, supplying green gas to approximately 8,000 homes via the National Gas grid.
The plant processes local food waste, offering a sustainable alternative to landfill disposal. The acquisition strengthens BioticNRG's position in the UK AD sector and aligns with its strategy to address the UK's food waste challenge.
