Blue Planet Expands Waste Management Operations with Strategic Investment
Blue Planet has processed over 20 million tonnes of waste and is in talks with Uttar Pradesh to enhance landfill and biogas projects. The company's collaboration with Novo Holdings aims to support its growth in circularity and sustainability initiatives.

Blue Planet, founded in Singapore in 2017, has established a significant waste management platform, including landfill remediation and biogas projects. The company has recently secured investment from Novo Holdings, which will enhance its operational capabilities and support its expansion plans in India, particularly in Uttar Pradesh.
As of now, Blue Planet has processed over 20 million tonnes of waste and has become a leading supplier of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) in India, controlling approximately 60-65% of the market. There are ongoing discussions regarding the use of advanced agri-waste technology that could further transform the company's business model.
Moreover, Blue Planet is integrating artificial intelligence into its operations to improve efficiency and safety standards. The company continues to advocate for policy changes to support recycling and energy-from-waste initiatives.
