Bunge Invests €4.4 Million in Porto Corsini Soybean Facility Upgrade
Bunge Global SA has committed €4.4 million to enhance its soybean processing capabilities at the Porto Corsini facility in Italy. This investment aims to double processing volumes and improve operational efficiency, supporting local agricultural production and food security.

Bunge Global SA has completed a €4.4 million investment to modernize its Porto Corsini facility in Ravenna, Italy, with construction finishing in June. The upgrades include new seed reception systems, expanded storage, and enhanced laboratory testing capabilities, facilitating increased processing volumes of locally grown soybeans.
The facility is projected to be fully operational by the end of summer 2026, aligning with the harvest season. This expansion is expected to strengthen Ravenna's role as a connection hub for local harvests, enhancing the supply chain across Italy and Europe. Increased soybean purchases will support the food and biofuel sectors, thereby contributing to Italy's food security.
