California Ethanol + Power Advances Sugar Valley Energy Biorefinery Project with Engineering Review

BIOFUELSNATURAL GAS

California Ethanol + Power (CE+P) announced that its Sugar Valley Energy project has successfully undergone an independent engineering review, clearing a significant milestone for the $1 billion biorefinery in Brawley, California. The facility will process locally grown sugarcane to produce over 73 million gallons of ethanol, 771 million cubic feet of renewable natural gas, and 41 megawatts of electricity each year.

The project has received major environmental approvals and features a reasonable 36-month construction timeline. This initiative aims to meet California's growing demand for in-state ethanol production, reducing reliance on imports and bolstering local agriculture.
