Chemfab Alkalis Commissions INEOS Electrolyser to Replace 30-Year-Old Equipment

Chemfab Alkalis Ltd has commissioned a new INEOS Electrolyser, replacing a 30-year-old UHDE Electrolyser to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. The company anticipates improved operating rates and reliability, with power savings expected starting Q4 of FY 2025-26.

The consent capacity remains at 180 tonnes per day, and the project involved a capital expenditure of approximately Rs. 57 Crs, funded through internal accruals. On the BSE, Chemfab Alkalis shares last traded at Rs. 425.05, with an intraday high of Rs. 428.80 and a low of Rs. 420.00, totaling 626 shares traded.
