Chibuwe Technical High School Designated as Zimbabwe's First Polytechnic High School
Chibuwe Technical High School in Chipinge has been recognized as Zimbabwe's first Polytechnic High School following a visit by Permanent Secretary Tumisang Tabela. The school offers a range of motor skills subjects and operates various projects, including a sports academy, driving school, and the largest biogas project for a school in the country. The initiative aims to address unemployment and align with the government's Education 5.0 policy.

Chibuwe Technical High School in Chipinge has been designated as Zimbabwe's first Polytechnic High School after gaining recognition from the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Schools. This status was achieved due to the school's extensive offerings in motor skills subjects, which began in 2016 to combat high unemployment rates.
Chibuwe runs a sports academy, a driving school, and has the largest biogas project for any school in Zimbabwe, utilizing manure from its piggery. The school plans to seek guidance from Mutare Polytechnic to further enhance its programs.
