Clean Energy Fuels Signs Multiple RNG Agreements with Fleets Across California, Arizona, and Washington
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has announced new agreements for renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling infrastructure with various fleets, including trucks, waste haulers, and transit agencies. Key partnerships include supplying Ecology Transportation Services with 2.1 million gallons of RNG annually, supporting Recology's fueling stations in Seattle, and providing fuel to WMATA's bus fleet. The agreements reflect the growing adoption of RNG as a clean, affordable alternative to diesel, with existing infrastructure facilitating this transition.

Clean Energy Fuels Corp. has secured multiple agreements for renewable natural gas (RNG) fueling infrastructure with various multi-sector fleets. The company will supply 2.1 million gallons of RNG annually to Ecology Transportation Services for its fleet of 150 RNG trucks across California, Arizona, and Nevada.
Recology is expanding its RNG commitment with upgraded fueling stations in Seattle, while WMATA's new contract covers five million gallons for over 400 natural gas buses. Clean Energy will also provide RNG to Arlington Transit in Virginia, Scottsdale, AZ's refuse vehicles, and Nashville International Airport's shuttle buses.
The City of Fort Smith, Arkansas, has signed an RNG supply agreement as well. RNG is recognized for its low emissions and cost-effectiveness compared to diesel.
