Corrientes Governor Unveils Gas Pipeline Project to Boost Regional Development
Governor Juan Pablo Valdés presented a roadmap for development in Corrientes, outlining a gas pipeline project from Misiones and Chaco. The project aims to enhance gas supply, enable new industrial investments, and support energy generation, including a planned natural gas power plant. The initiative also includes renewable energy expansion and bioenergy projects, targeting a population of over two million.

Governor Juan Pablo Valdés announced a gas pipeline project for Corrientes during Argentina Week, aimed at boosting local development. The pipeline will connect gas from Misiones and Chaco, enhancing gas supply to the region.
It will enable new investments, including a natural gas power plant with 50-100 megawatts capacity and a liquefaction plant. Additional projects include a 50-megawatt power plant in Curuzú Cuatiá and a 300-megawatt facility for a data center in the 'Corrientes Power Hub'. Valdés emphasized renewable energy expansion and bioenergy potential, targeting a population of over two million.
