Danantara, launched on February 24, 2025, plans to initiate six multi-billion dollar downstream projects by February 2026, with a total investment of approximately $6 billion. Under President Prabowo Subianto's leadership, the agency aims to attract foreign investments and streamline over 1,000 state-owned enterprises to enhance economic growth, focusing on high-quality initiatives in clean energy and industrialization. Key projects include aluminum smelters in West Kalimantan, biofuel production in Central Java, and integrated coconut processing in Central Sulawesi.

Danantara, established on February 24, 2025, is set to begin executing downstream projects valued at approximately $6 billion by February 2026. President Prabowo Subianto has set an ambitious target for Danantara to launch at least six major projects during this period.
The agency aims to attract significant foreign investments while consolidating over 1,000 state-owned enterprises (SOEs) to enhance economic growth. CEO Rosan Roeslani emphasized Danantara's role as a sovereign wealth fund to manage investments for long-term sustainability.
The agency plans to focus on high-quality investments, particularly in clean energy and industrialization. Notable projects include aluminum smelters in West Kalimantan, biofuel production in Central Java, and integrated coconut processing in Central Sulawesi. Danantara also aims to modernize SOE governance and reduce the number of enterprises from over 1,000 to around 200 by 2026.
