DESCO Infratech Limited is acquiring Shri Green Agro Energies Private Limited, marking its entry into the Compressed Biogas (CBG) sector. This acquisition provides DESCO with an advanced-stage CBG project, facilitating faster market entry and reducing development risks.

The project has secured long-term feedstock supply arrangements and has established infrastructure for direct grid injection. All necessary approvals have been obtained, and production is expected to start soon.

This strategic move supports DESCO's clean energy strategy and enhances its position in sustainable energy. Shares of DESCO were trading at Rs. 165.80 on BSE with a net turnover of Rs. 5,874,850.
